Empire State Of Mind (Part II)- Alicia Keys

Ooohh New York x2
Grew up in a town that is famous as the place of movie scenes
Noise is always loud, there are sirens all around and the streets are mean
If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere, that's what they say
Seeing my face in lights or my name in marquees found down on Broadway

Even if it ain’t all it seems, I got a pocketful of dreams
Baby, I'm from New York
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of
There's nothing you can't do
Now you're in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you
Let's hear it for New York, New York, New Yoooork!

On the avenue, there ain't never a curfew, ladies work so hard
Such a melting pot, on the corner selling rock, preachers pray to God
Hail a gypsy cab, takes me down from Harlem to the Brooklyn Bridge
Some will sleep tonight with a hunger for more than an empty fridge

I'm gonna make it by any means, I got a pocketful of dreams
Baby, I'm from New York
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of
There's nothing you can't do
Now you're in New York
These street will make you feel brand new

Big lights will inspire you
Let's hear it for New York, New York, New Yoooork!
One hand in the air for the big city,
Street lights, big dreams all looking pretty
No place in the world that can compare
Put your lighters in the air, everybody say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

In New York
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of
There's nothing you can't do
Now you're in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you
Let's hear it for New York, New York, New Yoooork!

L'amore e cieco

I am beginning to think that my life is a tele novela. Sa dami ng drama at problemang hinaharap parang di sya natatapos. Kung anong klaseng tele novela sana isang syang Korean Novela. For weeks now I am hooked into watching Boys Over Flower. A korean tele novela about 4 rich boys who met a poor laundry girl. She's a character that is why 2 of the lead star fell in love with her. What I like about it are the scenes when they fight and make kulit with each other. The guy is very insensitive and proud pero learning to be humble and be a better person because of the girl. I like the kilig moments when the guy does something or surprise moments to please the girl. Defend her from everyone including his evil mom. Meron pa kayang lalaking ganyan ngayon? Not the rich part but the one who will do those kilig stuff for a girl. The part where he would fight for his love. The part he will never give her up no matter what.

I want to share a quote from the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun" which was sent to me by B---

"Signora, between Austria and Italy, there is a section of the Alps called the Semmering. It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains. They built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. They built these tracks even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip. They built it because they knew some day, the train would come."

"If you smash into something good, you should hold on until it's time to let go. "

Will I ever be happy again? Will I laugh again? That I keep asking myself when I hear people around me laughing and smiling. It's like their life is so happy and full of fun. Will the train ever come? No one knows...but my friends believe it will. Just a matter of time.
